In 1994 a dream was born on a 4190 sqm spacious piece of land with a spectacular view to the northern shore of Skiathos Island.
This land has got direct access to the sea shaping at the edge a natural basin like a pool. The former builder who is still the today's owner
has preserved with prudence and love the environment of his land making this aegean access comfortable with simple means.
The beach is naturally made of smooth rocks embedding cristal clear water, accessable from both sides: from the protected basin and from the open Aegean Sea, whatever one wants.
You won't expect unwanted visitors it is the absolute privacy you've ever dreamed of, perhaps. Ascending to the first plateau, we can find a fitting
peaceful place, where sunset and sea are shaking hands in harmony.
Auf einem 4190 Quadratmeter großem Grundstück wurde dieses Anwesen 1994 errichtet mit einem unvergleichlichen
Blick auf die Nordküste der Insel Skiathos. Das Land reicht bis direkt ans Meer herunter, dort,
wo die Felsen ein natürliches Schwimmbecken bilden. Der Erbauer und derzeitige Eigentümer hat
mit viel Liebe und Verstand die Natur erhalten und doch einen wunderschönen, bequemen Zugang zur
Ägäis geschaffen. Die dort entstandene Bademöglichkeit ist kein Strand, an dem man unerwünschte
Besucher erwarten könnte, sondern viel mehr ein Becken aus natürlichen, weichen und runden Felsen
mit glasklarem Wasser; etwas weiter oben findet man passend einen friedvollen Platz, um Abende in
Harmonie mit Land und Meer zu verbringen.

αναμένετε
ενοχλητικό
κόσμο σε αυτήν
την ιδιωτική
περιοχή. Ανεβαίνουμε
λίγο παραπάνω
και βρίσκουμε
ένα κατάλληλο
μέρος όπου
κουβεντιάζουν
η θάλασσα με το
ηλιοβασίλεμα.

We're taking a break at this point - and are looking around: Everything is in excellent condition, made with love and special skills.
The lush landscaping, partly naturally born, partly artificially created but well kept is impressive. We keep on climbing the lot and are reaching
an old, downed cottage, a so called Kalivi. It is next to the second building site, formerly planned for the friend of the owner with the according
building permits. We're honest, we haven't lost the focus onto the house on the top of the land but, if we had, the impression would even be greater introducing
the house itsself, residing on the very end of the cultivated area with the impeccable view, we have been talking about.
Wir verweilen ein paar Minuten an dieser Stelle und schauen uns um:
Alles ist im Detail liebevoll angelegt. Wir gelangen durch die üppige Vegetation, teils gewachsen,
teils mit Mühe und Geduld angelegt, und perfekt gepflegt, zunächst an ein altes, eingefallenes Haus
aus Naturstein, ein so genanntes Kalivi. Hier in der Nähe befindet sich ein weiterer Bauplatz,
ursprünglich so geplant und genehmigt für den Freund des Eigentümers. Würde man erst jetzt den Kopf heben,
dann stellte sich in diesem Moment das Haus selbst vor, thronend auf dem Kopf des Grundstücks mit dem
unbeschreiblich erhabenen Blick über das Meer und die vor gelagerten Inseln.

σπίτι θα
ορθωνόταν θρονιάζοντας
στη κορυφή του
οικοπέδου και
η εντύπωση θα ήτανε
μεγαλύτερη.
Αλήθεια,
κοιτάξαμε
συνεχώς προς
το σπίτι,
αναμένοντας να
φτάσουμε εκεί
πάνω.

Just some steps left, crossing the drive way, we're finally reaching the socket of the three story building, consisting of the rebuilt
old Kalivi, the basement and a separate appartement. Everything is of natural stone, whether the floors or the walls, tarying the drive- and
walk ways. We can breathe the first impression from the inside, pressing our face onto the solid windows. By the way, don't turn around at this location!
It could be very dangerous getting that much impressions looking over the land to the sea while searching for a fix point to get a sudden break. You could even be
confused, cause it is so amazing! We've just left 30 meters height behind us! The next detail seems to be the vegetable garden - here you can get
the fruits of Greece: Tomatoes, cucumbers, onions even peach are growing magnificently.... First of all we're looking into the well rebuilt
Kalivi, providing 4 beds and a comfortable bathroom, an excellent adventure not only for kids. Close by in the basement of the main building, we can find the
first two of four bedrooms with joined bathroom and utility room. Next door the separate appartement shows the same quality with a spacious
bathroom.
Noch ein paar Stufen, die Zufahrt überqueren, und endlich gelangen wir zum unteren Teil des dreistöckigen Gebäudes,
der ersten Terrasse. Alles ist in Pilionplatten belegt, und formschöne Natursteinmauern säumen die Ränder der Wege.
Wir können von außen den ersten Eindruck gewinnen, wie es wohl innen aussehen muss. Die Fenster aus solider Qualität
lassen den ersten Blick erhaschen. Sich an dieser Stelle umzudrehen, an der sich auch das Apartment und ein zweites,
neu aufgebautes Kalivi anschließen, ist nicht ungefährlich. Der Blick über den üppig grünen Garten mit der prägenden,
riesigen Pinie, über das Ende des Grundstücks hinaus, welches mit scharfem Kontrast die Kontrolle dem Meer übergibt,
das Auge ständig nach ruhigen Fixpunkten suchend, und doch immer wieder neues entdeckend, ist atemberaubend und das
nach nahezu 30 Metern Höhendifferenz. Der Gemüsegarten, professionell angelegt, scheint die nächste Überraschung zu sein:
Tomaten, Gurken, Zwiebeln, gar Pfirsiche gehören zu seinem Repertoire. Wir schauen uns das gründlich renovierte zweite
Kalivi an mit gar 4 Betten und anschließendem Duschbad, ein abenteuerliches Paradies nicht nur für Kinder.
Daneben befinden sich schon zwei der vier Schlafzimmer des Haupthauses und daran anschließend
öffnet sich das 20 qm große Appartement mit eigenem Bad.

σημειώσεις
που τα
μάτιά σας
θέλουν να
πιάσουν, σας
ζαλίζει. Καταφέραμε
κιόλας 30 μέτρα
ύψος! Μας
αναμένει καινούρια
έκπληξη ο
κήπος
λαχανικών.
Έχει ντομάτες,
αγγούρια,
κρεμμύδια και
ακόμη
ροδάκινα!
Ξεκινάμε
εσωτερικά σε

We follow the driveway, winding elegantly around the sophisticated building, to the next floor. Now we are at the location we've been climbing for:
The terrace with its impressive view. Here is the main entrance as well guiding through the kitchen to the living room with fire place
and office corner. In the center of this area is the hallway, leading to both the basement and the second floor. Each bedroom on the second floor
has got its own bathroom made of marble, one with shower the other with tub and they are in traditional Pelion style, i.e. planks on the floor and
giant ceilings made of timber. The house leaves an impeccable impression - is in best condition, from inside and as well from outside.
Wir folgen der plattierten Zufahrt, die sich elegant um das Haus windet, einen Stock höher.
Hier befindet sich, architektonisch pfiffig gelöst, die großzügige Terrasse vor dem Haupteingang mit gemauerten Sitzbänken,
deren Blick 180 Grad hoch oben über der Ägäis das Herz höher schlagen lässt. Der Haupteingang führt dann über die Wohnküche
zum Wohnzimmer mit offenem Kamin und nettem Büroplatz. In der Mitte befindet sich das Treppenhaus, von dem man sowohl in die
beiden unteren Schlafzimmer, als auch zu den sich im Dachgeschoss befindenden Schlafzimmern gelangt. Die Schlafzimmer oben haben
eigene Bäder, das eine mit Wanne, das andere mit Dusche. Alle Bäder sind in Marmor ausgelegt. Die Böden der oberen Schlafzimmer
sind aus dunklen Holzdielen, eben original Pilionstil. Das Haus macht einen perfekten Eindruck, von innen und von außen.

έχουν λουτρό
το ένα με ντους
και το άλλο με
μπανιέρα. Όλα
τα λουτρά σε
αυτό το σπίτι
είναι από
μάρμαρα. Τα
πατώματα των
ανώτερων
υπνοδωματίων
είναι ξύλινα,
δηλαδή τυπικό
από το Πήλιο. Το
σπίτι κάνει
τέλεια
εντύπωση από
μέσα και από
έξω.

We are leaving again the home, in order to climb the last section of the land: the parking on top of the cultivated land.
The remaining lot is wood, a natural protection against unwanted neighbors. We are turning one time more towards the Aegaen Sea and from here
we have the feeling the building itself is the protagonist on this blue stage. Taking a short breath, we are wondering how much rooms and beds
we've seen. Yes, correct, there were 14 beds. 14, that means you can move with two or three families, you can have friends and even both.
And look at this lovely BBQ! We're enthusiastic, and we believe, this is absolutely unique!
Wir gehen zurück auf den Weg und erklimmen die höchste Stelle des befahrbaren Landes.
Sie dient als Parkplatz, an den sich bis zum Grundstückende ein dichter Wald anschließt.
Wir drehen uns nochmals um und genießen von hier aus die ägäische Bühne, deren Protagonist nun das Haus
selbst zu sein scheint. Wir rechnen nochmals: Wie viele Schlafplätze haben wir gesehen? Ja richtig, es sind 14!
Das Haus eignet sich also hervorragend für zwei Familien, oder wir könnten Besuch empfangen, oder Freunde mitnehmen.
Schön, wirklich praktisch! Und, es gab sogar einen Grillplatz an der Westseite des Hauses mit einem Marmorbecken,
um Fische auszunehmen. Mensch, wir sind begeistert. Wir glauben, es ist ein außergewöhnliches Objekt – es ist ein Unikat.

το σπίτι είναι
ιδιαιτέρως
κατάλληλο για
δυο οικογένειες
ή για παρέες ή
φίλους. Ωραία,
πιστεύουμε
είναι μοναδικό!
Είναι ευκαιρία
για κόσμο που
ψάχνει ένα
τέτοιο.

We're sitting for another while on the terrace along with the owner having a neat last chat. Then we say goodby, leaving this place with
a lot of gorgeous impressions, turning around a couple of times toward this magnetic spot...

verabschieden uns und fahren mit traumhaften Eindrücken davon, uns noch mehrmals nach diesem anziehenden Ort umdrehend....
